I'm seeking information about the Jones family that lived in Point Twp in the 1700's & 1800's, specifically the Peter & William that lived there between 1790-1840.I have virtually nothing except Jones' in the census between 1790-1840 and a small list of wills written by Jones' between 1806-1857. There's a Peter on there that wrote one in 1826 & a couple Williams that wrote theirs in 1840 & 1848. It's apparent that I come from a William Jones. I don't know where he came from, but I'm guess Northumberland since his daughter married and remained in Northumberland. She married a Barber that was also from this county. His family I believe, also lived in Point. Can anyone help with the Peter Jones family?
