What a messy genealogical web!

CORRECTIONS:

Marion Emma McCaig is the daughter of Jacob and Emma Hepner, NOT JACOB AND RACHEL. She lived in Shamokin with husband and 3 children... but family lore has her dying elsewhere...did the funeral home mention anything? She died very young leaving her husband, daughter Gladys age 4, sons William and Arthur ages 3 and 1.

Yes, she was buried in Irish Valley with her family and her husband, Frank B. McCaig, is buried in Arlington Cemetery in Hudson County, New Jersey.

William B., husband of Ida Mangle IS NOT WILLIAM B. HEPNER! William B. is William B. McCaig, son of Frank B. and Marion Emma Hepner McCaig...so he is "of Hepner genealogy" but not Hepner in name.

I'd have to check on the Hepner genealogy which is very long and rich...having many descendants over the course of many generations in PA to discover where in the tree Jacob and Rachel might be.
