The following McCaigs are identified in the 50th Anniversary booklet published by the Shamokin High School Alumni Association:

Fannie Helen McCaig (Steitz) -- class of 1896
Arthur McCaig -- class of 1899
Isabel McCaig -- class of 1903
Anna Glaydes McCaig (Woodruff) -- class of 1919
The 1919 SHS Nuntius (yearbook) contains the following entry:

Glaydes McCaig
16 W. Lincoln St.

Pianist -- Normal

Glaydes is our future music supervisor. She is very much interested in her music which claims most of her attention. We wish you well in fulfilling your greatest ambition and know you will succeed.

The girls tell me that Glaydes McCaig
Is quite settlrd in her ways,
And I'm afraid if she keeps on teaching school
She'll be a spinster the rest of her days.

[Apparently not. It seems that she married a Woodruff. -- BTH]

The wife of a Frederick Woodruff (perhaps a child of this union) is buried in the Shamokin IOOF Cemetery.

M4-3 Joan M. Adams (10/23/1934-3/19/1984) d/o John R. & Ethel (Lewis)
M4-338 w/o Frederick Woodruff (no dates) int.? s/o ?
