I have a death record for Rose A. Kilpatrick who d. 17 Sep 1894 in Philadelphia. She was buried from St. Dominic Catholic Church on 20 Sep 1894, and her death was listed as a homicide. She was the wife of Samuel A. Kilpatrick, and her descendants believe he was the perpetrator of the homicide. Is there someone who would be willing to check Philadelphia newspapers for that week to determine if there was an obituary or newspaper article about the murder? I also need a marriage record for Samuel and Rose in about 1871 (oldest child b. 1872). Either item of information might give me a clue as to Rose's parentage.
