Thanks Deb! I have James' death certificate, I found it at the city archives. I've called around a bit to find the cemetery records but have had no luck with them. St. Paul's ME is now the home of some condos, so there isn't even a graveyard there that can be searched. Anyway, the reason I'm looking for a birth/christening record is because I'm hoping there is some information about his father Joseph who I have zero information on, except he was born in New Jersey.
