Thank you for responding to my BIEBER and ZIMMERMAN query!
I am a descendant of (Johann) Michael BIEBER (b 1706 in Hirschland, Alsace, d in Northampton Cty, PA), and his wife, Maria Magdalena SCHAFER (b 1708 in Hirschland, d in Northampton Cty. Their son, Michael BIEBER (1740-1832) was married 1740 near Longswamp, Northampton Cty, to Anna Maria FENSTERMACHER (1740-1801). If you think the man in California would have further info, I would appreciate your giving me his name and his e-mail address.
