My known Fenstermacher ancestry begins with my great-grandfather, Charles Fenstermacher born 10-08-1842 and died 01-22-1930. He was born in New Hanover Township, Montgomery County, PA and died in Easton, Northampton County, Pa. I have conflicting information about his parents. A copy of the translation of his Birth and Baptism Certificate identifies his parents as Joshua Fenstermacher and his wife Elisabeth Sernen; however, Charles' death certificate lists his parents as Jessa Fenstermacher and Caroline Freed.

Charles' obituary from the Easton newspaper states he was survived by three sisters; unfortunately, they were not named.
