WEAVER – Mrs. Sara E., 73, 330 Morning Land Drive, Windber, died June 11, 1987, at Memorial Hospital. Born July 16, 1913, in Friedens, daughter of the late Frank and Annie (Custer) Croyle. Preceded in death by husband, Emory; and son, Francis C. Survived by son, Gerald “Quay”, married to former Joan Robinson, Princeton, Mass. Sister of Fannie Miller, Davidsville; Harry, Michigan; and Dorsey, Titusville, Fla. Sister-in-law of Elgin Weaver, Windber; Herschel Weaver, Arlington, Va.; Hilda Shaffer, Hooversville; and Esther Hyde, Erie. Member of Berkey Church of Brethren, Windber. Retiree of Physicians and Dentists Telephone Answering Service, Johnstown. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Shank-Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Stanley Freed, officiating. Interment, Ogletown Brethren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to Kaufman Mennonite Church, Hollsopple R. D. 2, 15935, in memory of Mrs. Weaver.
