James Murphy Sr. is listed as the father of my grandmother Teresa Ann Murphy (Pritchard) on her baptismal record at St. Basil's in Dushore. Her mother is listed as Anna Harrington who was Anna Bennett and widow of Cornelius Harrington. James Murphy Sr. we understood died while working for a railroad sometime between l870 and l972. Teresa Murphy was born October 21, 1871. Anna married James Dunn in 1873. We cannot find any informaation on James Murphy Sr. He must of had a family before marrying Anna Harrington.
