James Dunn, of Cherry, died last Wednesday morning at the age of about 83 years. Mr. Dunn had suffered much since his fall about a year ago whereby he sustained injuries, which confined him to his room for several weeks.
The deceased came to Sullivan County 51 years ago and settled on the farm now occupied by his son William, where he died.
He had been married twice and leaves his second wife with two children, and a number of grown up sons and daughters from his former wife.
The remains were interred at the cemetery of St. Basil’s church at this place Friday.
