Dominic F. Perozzi, 80, Mildred passed away Wednesday evening, Jan. 16, 1991, at the Memorial Hospital in Towanda.
He was born in Mildred on May 3, 1910, the son of the late Constantino and Rosina Columbo Perozzi.
He attended local schools and worked in the area coalmines.
Mr. Perozzi married the former Ruth Donovan of Mildred on June 4, 1936.
He worked at the former Weldon Manufacturing Co. of Lopez and the former Sullcraft Manufacturing Co. of Dushore.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Mildred.
Mr. Perozzi was also a member of the Ber-Mill Fire Company and the ambulance association.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth at home, brother Erland Perozzi of Wyalusing; sisters Mrs. Regina Bley of Lansdale, Mrs. Lena Stortini of Mildred and Mrs. Erma Boll, Endicott, several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother Ernest Perozzi, on Feb. 2, 1990.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St. Dushore, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church Mildred, with the Rev. Paul M. Baier officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Dushore.
Friends may call Friday at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
There will be a recitation of the rosary at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
