Ella B. Crowe, age 94, formerly of Williamsport, died Sunday, in Manor Care, Camp Hill.
She was born March 19, 1914 in Sullivan Co., a daughter of the late Horace and Grace Brown Benjamin.
She was a former member of Christ Episcopal Church and Faxon Kemmer United Methodist Church, both of Williamsport and also Messiah Lutheran Church in South Williamsport; belonged to the Balls Mills Quilters; was a knitter with the Williamsport Hospital Auxiliary and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer in Williamsport.
Ella was the widow of Edward C. Crowe and was also preceded in death by a son, Edward C. Crowe, Jr.
Surviving is a son, John P. Crowe and wife, Carol, of East Hartford, CT; a daughter, Rebecca C. Enney and husband, George, of Camp Hill; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were Thursday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut St., Camp Hill. Burial in Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 324 S. Howard St., South Williamsport, Pa 17702.
