Hi, I think the Eleanor Jones listed below might be Shadrick's wife:

John Jones resided in Cross Creek, Washington County, PA 1800-1810, where Shadrick and Eleanor can be found also, at least up until 1806 or so. I guess my main question is who's daughter was she? Robert's or John's? The way the will is worded it almost sounds like John married his brother Robert's wife. I did find a Robert and John Jones in Chester County, 1790, living very near each other, which is where Shadrick and Eleanor were married.
John Jones also had a son, John Jr. who lived "next door" to him in 1810. On October 12, 1812, one of these John's along with a Joseph Jones (my husband's 3rd gen ggrandfather) purchased land in Perry Twp, Coshocton County, OH (range 9 township 5 section 19). The Henry McVey mentioned above also settled there.
Just to muddy the waters a bit more, 1820 Perry Twp, Coshocton County census shows Joseph (born 1783/MD) and family residing alongside a Robert Jones, age 45 and up, another male age 45 and up and 1 female age 26 and under 45. No sign of John, unless he's the unknown male.
Looking forward to hearing from anyone researching along these lines.
