"FRANK E. LANE DIES IN BENTLEYVILLE HOME, Bentleyville, June 8 -- Frank E. Lane, aged 57 years, died in his home here today. He was an employee of the Hillman Coal and Coke Company and a member of the Brethren Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Flora Lane; three children, Roy Lane, Mrs. Howard McGary and Mrs. William Theakston; his mother, Mrs. Jane C. Lane, all of Bentleyville; and the following brothers and sisters: A. Z. Lane, M. V. Lane and Mrs. Ida Sterling, all of California state; William Lane, of Wylandville; Walter Lane, of Amity; Mrs. Anna McCarty, of Marianna and Mrs. Mary Guthrie, of Bentleyville, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. A. A. Blake, will be held in his late home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Beallsville Cemetery."
