John, I don't see a connection with your Henry line, but I thought I would pass along a little information that may help you. I've traced my particular line to a GEORGE HENRY and he was an original settler (1748)in what was called the Irish Settlement along the Yadkin River in the North Carolina Frontier. I've also found a Thomas and a James Henry in the same area in about the same time period. Records indicate that most of these settlers came from Chester co. PA and Cecil co. MD. That's why I'm now beginning to search in those areas. I recently found York co. mention of a William, George and George Jr. in land records but I don't know the year. Those are consistent family names in my line. I'm only suggesting to you that it seems quite a few Henry's may have migrated from PA or MD when land became available in NC.
