Clyde Irvin Moyer, lifetime resident of Valley View, died suddenly at the park in Valley View Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock. He was attending a birthday party at the park for his twin brothers, Melvin and Elvin Moyer. He had been ill for some time with a heart condition.
Born February 27, 1917, he was a son of Darwin and Minnie Bixler Moyer, and was a member of the United Brethren Church and Sunday school.
To survive he leaves his wife, Dorothy; two children, Lois Marie and Leroy; his parents; and these brothers and sister: Melvin and Elvin, twins; Alvin, Ivan, Wayne, Bruce, and Betty, all of Valley View.
The funeral will be on Thursday afternoon from his late home. Further services will be in the United Brethren Church with the Rev. H M Mentzer officiating. Interment is in the church cemetery. H E Miller, Valley View, has charge.
