Harry A Morgan, 50, of Tremont, a World War I veteran, died at his home Saturday evening after a lingering illness. He was a son of the late Milton and Phoebe Morgan, Donaldson, and served overseas during the first war.
Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Roth, and these children: John and Mervin, both of Tower City; Silas, Valley View; Albert and Arthur, Joliett; Mrs. Charles Budwash, Mahanoy City; Clair, Ruth, Catherine, Milton and Donna, all at home; two brothers, Charles of Donaldson and Lloyd of Newtown. A son, Sterling, died several years ago.
A military funeral, in charge of the American Legion Post of Tremont, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at the H A Snyder Funeral Home, Tremont. Burial will be made in the Lutheran cemetery. The Rev. Charles Young, pastor of the United Brethren Church, will officiate.
