Frank H Trathen, 19 South Fourth Street, Ashland, representative in the Ashland area, was fatally stricken with a heart attack while sitting in his automobile on Centre Street, Ashland, Monday morning about eleven o’clock.
He was stopped on Centre Street between Eleventh and Twelfth, talking with an uncle, Elwood Hepler of Ashland, when he slumped dead in the seat. Dr. J. J. Flannery, who was called, stated that death resulted from a heart attack. His body was released to the Otto Funeral home Ashland, by Deputy Coroner Roy Leverentz.
He was a native of Ashland and a son of the late Frank and Jennie Mervine Trathen. He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. He was also a member of the IOOF. He lived his lifetime in Ashland.
His only survivor is his wife, the former Ethel Wolfgang.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
