Mrs. S.I. Shoemaker
Emma (Rogers), wife of Samuel I Shoemaker, who died at her home, 1549 Mulberry street, was a native of Locust Summit, Northumberland county, daughter of the late William and Sarah Rogers, who came to this country from England. She was the last of her parents family, and was a member of Christ Evangelical Church. She was also a member of the Beavers and the Phildephian Dames. Besides her husband, there survive a son, Howard, of Reading; a daughter, Pearl, wife of Solis Endy, of Reading, and one grandson, Roger Endy. Funeral Director Hunter Henninger is in charge.

Relatives and friends and organizatios of which she was a member are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from her late residence, 1549 Mulberry Street, Saturday at 10:30 am. Services at the house. Interment in Charles Evans Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening.
