Ruth M. Zeller, 86, of 308 Plane St., Gordon, passed away Friday morning at Saint Catherine Medical Center Fountain Springs.
Born in Lavelle, Aug. 7, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Mae Kukuk Lucas.
She attended Hegins Township and Gordon schools.
She was a member of the Gordon Senior Citizens and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Getty Lucas AMVETS, Post 44, Gordon.
She attended Simpson United Methodist Church, Gordon.
Preceding her in death were brothers, Willard and Alfred Lucas; also sisters, Helen Cuthie, Catherine Morgan and Blanche Carl.
Surviving are a daughter, Carrie, wife of Ronald Matejick, Gordon; three sons, Willard Hubler and his wife, Linda, Ashland, Robert Lucas and his wife, Bridget, Greenberry, and Donald Lucas, Gordon; a brother, Charles Lucas, Mowry; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Private graveside funeral services will be held in Citizens Cemetery, Lavelle. Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland, has charge of arrangements.
