Clark Daniel MArtin 11th child of John P. & MAry A Klick Martin ,born 16 Jan 1891 in Pine Grove. Found alot of him on Ancestry. He did alot of travel,age 26 was a correspondent in New York City, his brother in law Clarence Russell Comes also lived in New York City not far from Clark.
His description: height- 5 ft 61/4 inch tall; Gray eyes; nose- large and board;Hair: blonde; complexsion fair;face full with dimples.
Graduated from PGSH school in 1908. Looking for high school picture.
At the age of 26 applied for a passport to go to France to join the American Volunteer Motor Ambulance Corps at that time he was living in New York City.
He also worked as a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
In 1917 he lived in New York City and was a correspondant
He left from the port of New York to France on April 21 1917 for the American Red Cross/ Ambulance work.
He was in many countries volunteering.
There were many Red Cross letters at one time and possible many letters back to family in Pine Grove.
In 1942 he was living in at 308 East 53 St N.Y.C. N.Y. at that time he was unemployed.
WOuld like to know what happen to him in his remaining years until his death 30 Dec 1977?
He had a older sister, Annie Laura Martin born in 4 Sept 1872.Would anyone have any information on her?
There were 15 sibiling in all.
Would appreicate any information on Clark and siblings.
