How do I find ancestors who migrated from England to Philadelphia 1886

Hi community
This is my first time using the message board so apologies if I'm doing it wrong. Have just found some ancestors who emigrated from England to Philadelphia in 1886. I have found their passenger list so know they landed in Philadelphia in Nov 1886. I now want to try and locate them after that - don't know how I go about it. Are there census records for me to check in the same way as UK census? or are there other records which would be helpful?
Any advice anyone can give would be most helpful
