I am looking for any information regarding Augusta Johansdotter and her son Carl A. Liljedahl.
B. 30 Aug 1852 in Hortlax (believed), Sweden
D. 10 Dec 1934 in Sweden
She had her son, Carl A. Liljedahl 21 Sept 1875 illegitamately. She was betrothed to Otto Ekelin, but it was dissolved. Our family story goes that her son's father (Liljedahl) was of royal descent, or at the very least a prominent family who wanted nothing to do with her son. In exchange for Augusta leaving the family alone, they allowed her son to keep the "Liljedahl" name. I cannot find anything on my own that there is relevence to this story. Any help would be appreciated.
Carl A. Liljedahl

Immigrated to Bellefonte, PA 8 Jun 1894 on the Ship "Norge". He was a blacksmith upon arrival and boarded with the Dawson family in the West Ward of Bellefonte, PA where he worked as a machinist. He married Grace Barlet 19 Sept 1902 in Altoona, PA. They had two children: Thelma Liliedahl (1903) & Rexford E. Liliedahl (1906).
Carl spoke of Aunt Gussy (Augusta) and may or may not have known Augusta was his biological mother.
