The URI has extensive pew records from St. John's. Has anyone used them? I am interested in the information these might contain about the Field, Potter and Updike families, who had marriages in St. John's. I have pretty much exhausted probate, census, other records, looking for the parentage of Sarah Potter, born 1773 in Providence, married George Field. Their daughter Mary Elizabeth Field married John Crawford Updike in St. John's in 1822.
