We are desperately trying to locate the next of kin of Miss Martha Jean Latimer who was found dead in her Nashville apartment yesterday morning and I'm hoping someone in the Aiken area can offer us some advice on where to go next. Miss Latimer was something of a recluse and nothing found in her assisted living apartment gives us current information that we need. Her only immediate family consists of her brother, MacDonald "Don" Latimer and his adopted daughter, Roblin Ann Latimer, both of Aiken, SC.



Don Latimer is now 85 years old and until recently lived at 937 Two Notch Road. His phone has recently been disconnected and apparently no one is living in the house. We've contacted neighbors but none of them seems to know a thing. We also contacted the police departments (city and county) and they dispatched someone to the Two Notch Road residence as well as the last known address for Roblin Ann Latimer at 162 Cook Bridge Road. They advised us that no one seemed to be living at either address. We believe that Roblin may have worked at the Aiken High School as an old email address (that no longer works) was rlatimer@k12. sc.us. Don Latimer's wife Dorothy is deceased. He also had a son James Raymond "Jimmy" Latimer who had been paralyzed in an accident back about 1981 and who just died in the last couple of years. Don is now about 85 years old and Roblin was born June 1, 1964 making her 44.
