Looking for any information on the people buried in the Old Langley Cemetery. My mother and myself are trying to gather information on this cemetery and then record it for all to use. I am trying to gather old obituaries on anyone buried there and also personal history. Looking for people who would like to add their families information. This information will be submitted to local libraries and genealogical societies when complete. The information will never be sold but free to anyone looking for their family.
You will be given full credit for your information. I have many family members buried in the cemetery and it hurts to see the cemetery in the condition its in. I dont know if this cemetery will ever be clean but we can at least keep our families history going. My mother has an old survey done years ago but its not up to date. This might take a good while to gather information and we welcome any helpers! I also have a subscription to the Augusta Chronicle online newspaper archives so I hope to gather as many obits as possible.
