I am seeking information regarding the origin of my grandmother's family in Georgia. I just obtained my great granparents obits. They migrated to Arkansas in 1899 from Powder Springs, GA. They were Allison W. (b. 1855) and Martha Ann Hill Meadows (b. 1856). They had Daisey (Octavia) Meadows Ridgdill b. 1887, Mamie Bell Meadows Porterfield b 1889, Clara Meadows Reevesb 1897, Myrtice Meadows b. 1891, Lee Lonnie Meadows b. 1893, FRANK MEADOWS b. 1895 (LAST KNOWN RESIDENCE WAS ANDERSON, SC), and Hillure Meadows b. abt. 1904. Great grandpa had a sister, Emma Vorner of Powder Springs, GA and a brother Lonnie Meadows of Douglasville, GA at the time of his death in 1944. gcpatter@tamapbay.rr.com
