Hello cousin! I am a Bowie too, and a member of the Anderson County Genealogy Chapter.

My gggg grandfather (and yours?) was Charles Bowie. I have some information (little by which standards? lol).

Are you the family of Nancy? I have a picture of Mary, her sister, my ggg grandmother!

Mary was buried in Bethel Presbterian Church in Oconee County Where was Nancy and her family buried? Well, she was also in there: I have been there many times!

Do you know Nancy's son Wesley Bowie White (1829-1898), a CSA veteran (2nd Lt., Co. G, 12th Regiment). He was buried there also, as was William H. White, a CSA veteran and another son of Nancy.

Anyway, who are you? What do you want?

Chuck
