Had Children: Matthew, Joseph, John, Rachel, Hannah, Mary, and Anne. I have a note that the will was in Pendleton District and Anderson Cty, SC. Son Matthew Thomson/Thompson B: 1746 Alberville, SC married 20 Aug 1763 to Rachel Allen, Died 1803 Alberville District, SC children: Matthew, William, James, Ann (married Gen Robert Anderson), Mary, Margaret (married ? Harris), Marjory (married a John Woods), Rachel (married ? Long), Elizabeth, and Agnes. My notes indicate the will was in the 96th District, SC; Proved Pendleton 15 Sep 1792. Could you please tell me where/how to get a copy of these wills, and whether any type of marriage licensing/bond was recorded for the marriages of this period?
