Surnames: MANUEL, DAVIS
Seeking information on John M. MANUEL, b. SC 1875, d. Aft. 1850. Wife Polly, surname unknown, Children include Owen W. MANUEL, ca. 1825 - 1860s. Believed to have died in Civil War, wife Martha, surname unknown, married before 1870 to William DAVIS. Several MANUEL children were living in the DAVIS household in 1870, including J. Stephen MANUEL.

All information appreciated. I have provisionally formed a line of descent: John M. MANUEL, Owen W. MANUEL, J. Stephen MANUEL, but it is possible that John M. MANUEL was Owen's grandfather.
