Savage HEYWARD of Savannah GA/Beaufort SC). He was survived by a half-brother, Messick M. BOOTLE, and by two sons, Herbert W. SIMMONS (b 23 Feb 1860 d 17 Jul 1928 m S.M. _____ b 30 Nov 1865 d 2 Dec 1935) and John William SIMMONS. John Matthew SIMMONS was the son of {252} Ben SIMMONS and {253} Unity ELLIOTT. John Matthew SIMMONS was predeceased by his wife, and evidently by both daughters (I had not heard of Estelle before).
