i am a desendant of this elusive judge. academically, i believe your death certificate for ccparrish holds more weight than a rumored judgeship.
as there seems to be no mention other than the statement as fact he was a judge i would take that with a grain of salt.
was there an exodus, famine, oppression in ireland around 1800? somewhere between 1779 and 1805 there should be a record of entry into the usa.i say 1805 because we have a son born in greenville.
this should be easier to research? and would an irishman right off the boat become a judge? just pondering.
