Surnames: Prince, Ivey
There were Princes in Southampton County, Prince George County, and surrounding counties in VA in 1700s. They apparently traveled to Robeson County, NC and Georgetown, SC with the Ivey family around the mid-1700s. I have seen where one of the Princes (I believe it was Joseph) was on a Passengers List for a ship that diembarked around Georgetown, SC (maybe Murrell's Bay???) I am sorry that I don't have the particulars for this, but my computer crashed about 2 weeks ago and I have lost all of my research-ugh! Check out the Georgetown, SC boards and websites on the history/genealolgy of the area. They may help you find more. Also check out Bob's Genealogy Filing Cabinet on the web (look in the Adam Ivey Family section.)Also, the boards for the southeastern VA counties and the Library of Virginia have information on the Prince family. Hope this helps!
