I am searching for children and grandchildren and other information about the family of Rachel Baker, listed in Chesterfield, the mining district, in 1850 and in Lancaster in 1860. Her granddaughter, Molcy (Mary, Molly) was listed in Keshaw in 1870-1900. I SUSPECT that Darling(married mary copeland and listed in Chesterfield county in both 1850 and 1860)is Molcy's brother. I'm pretty sure Jane and Louis Baker are Molcy's sister and brother. Since I am at a dead end on Molcy, I'm hoping to find a connection in another part of the family. I don't know if Rachel married a Baker or if her maiden name was Baker but I know she is Molcy's grandmother. I also suspect Alex and Henry Baker of Lancaster census 1860 are in the family but I don't know how they are connected. Please help! This is driving me crazy.
