The 1810 Kershaw census lists SAMUEL PATE, ALLEN PATE, ELIJAH PATE, AND BENNET PATE as heads of households. My research indicates that SAMUEL was the father of ALLEN, ELIJAH, AND BENNET.

ALLEN PATE is my ggggrandfather, and I am interested in any additional connection/documentation that SAMUEL is ALLEN'S father. ALLEN LEFT Kershaw County about 1825, probably for Georgia first, then settled in Bibb County, AL
