Thank you for replying. I don't have much information about the family of Henry and Elizabeth Neely. I know that Elizabeth's parents were John and Anna/Nancy Mitchell of Laurens County, SC. John and Anna Mitchell were my 4th g'grandparents.

Elizabeth Neely's tombstone at Poplar Springs Church says "Wife of Henry Neely".

In 1850 Laurens census, p317, Elizabeth Mitchell, age 18 and her mother Anny Mitchell, age 60 were living in the household of John Mitchell--Elizabeth's brother and Anny/Anna's son.

I haven't found Elizabeth and Henry on the 1860 Laurens census, but that doesn't mean that they aren't listed on that census.

Elizabeth Neely and children are listed on the 1870 Laurens census, p186, living at Laurens C. H. Post Office.
Elizabeth Neely, age 35
Nancy, age 18
George W., age 16
Catherine, age 14
Louquita, age 11

In 1880 Laurens census Elizabeth Neeley was listed in Sullivan Township p226c, age 49, with son George Neeley, age 25 and grandson Willie Neeley, age 9.
