Surnames: Agnew, Anderson, Arnold, Fowler, Franklin, Fuller, Garrett, Glenn, Harris ( of Harris Springs) Lewis, McCullough, Neely, Nelson, Parks, Putman, Riddle, Simpson, Smith, Sullivan, Taylor, WAde, Wharton all from Laurens & now Greenwood Countys, SC
I have a James Neely on a Land Grant from 1774 for 100 acres in Laurens County. We descend from a Rebekah Neely( born 5/19/1808) who married a Joel L. Anderson in Waterloo, Laurens County. Rebekah ( spelling from headstone). We are try to connect our Rebekah Neely to this James Neely. Rebekah died at the birth of her 9 th child in 1847.Rebekah father - in law was David Lewis Anderson , the first probate Judge in Laurens County
