Looking for information on the parents of Archibald McDonald, b. 1815 in South Carolina, married Mary Ann Crenshaw about 1844.
I have seen some family trees that have Calvin Archibald McDonald as his father, but haven't seen anything to substantiate this.
Archibald's family:
Wife: Mary Ann Crenshaw (1823-1884)
Children: Matthew Thomas (1846 – 1914), Frances Malissa (1848 - ?), Mary Elving (1850 - ?), Owen Archibald (1852 – 1900), Martha Louise Jane (1854 – 1936), and Sarah Kathryn (1869 – 1947)
