Benjamin Wesley Moseley, 71, of Kingstree, died late Monday night after a long illness.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon in Salters Methodist Church by the Rev. Howard Waddell and the Rev. Charles Plowden. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were nephews.

Honorary pallbearers were J. C. Montgomery, J. D. McCollough, W. S. McCollough Sr., I. E. Davis, W. T. Burroughs and the official board of the Salters Methodist Church.

Mr. Moseley was born in Salters, a son of the late Albert R. and Sallie Counts Moseley.

Mr. Moseley was a member of the Salters Methodist Church. He graduated from the public schools. He served in the U. S. Army during World War I and was an honorary member of the Kingstree Legion Post.

Surviving are the widow, the former Lillian Williams; three daughters, Mrs. John D. (Eulee) Williams of Spartanburg, Mrs. William B. (Mary) Pitts of Marion and Mrs. John B. (Barbaran) Bigelow of Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Albert R. Moseley Jr. of Salters; a sister Mrs. S. L. Montgomery of Charleston Heights; and seven grandchildren.

Note: Although I don't know the newspaper it came from, this text was taken directly from the obituary. He was born August 10, 1896; died October 16, 1967; and was buried Octobet 18, 1967 in the Salters Methodist Church Cemetery in Salters, Williamsburg Co., SC.
