John Scott &wife Henrietta came into Savannah, GA Feb 1733/34 with James Oglethorpe to settle the new city. Those who came with Oglethorpe received a Plot of Land, John Scott received Plot # 144. Son James and daughter Sarah came with them, 2 sons were born in GA, Thomas Scott and William Scott. John Scott moved his family to Carolina March 1738.
