Thank you for the quick response! I'm just beginning to research out resources concerning these first settlers to the Charles Town area. I have bits and pieces of info. It would be nice to fill in a few gaps on James and Priscilla Donaho.
These Irish Donoho's were of the Baptist faith. Looking for info on early Baptists in the Charles Town area too! Check out (www. palmettoroots.org) What a great website! You will find the passenger lists for the "Carolina" and "The Blessing".
It sure would be great to find a passenger list for the ship "Three Brothers"!!! It sounds like there might have been a few ships that arrived during 1671???? Not sure about this???
James DONAHUE was indexed in the book, "Affra Harleston and Old Charles Towne in South Carolina" written by Margaret Simons Middleton, 1971. I did not see a listing for Hurt/Hurst.
There is a lot of good info on the Boone family website about the ship the Carolina and a good map of the early Charles Town area. I believe it is located at www.boonefamily.org/caroline.html
Thanks for keeping the Donaho's in mind when you are researching.
