I was just researching the history of a house in Charleston. One of the owners was Henry Bollman who bought the land (and probably built the house) in December 1862. His wife was Caroline Bollman. He died in 1870 without a will, and the house was passed to his heirs. That deed records several brothers and sisters including Ahrend, Behrend, Diedrich, Meta, and some neices and nephews. It sounds like a different Henry Bollman based on your information, but maybe there is some connection.
