Surnames: Young & George & Gordon
Searching for Alexander Young b 1759 and Nancy Gordon & Martha Jane Gordon George.

This group was in Floyd Co., Ky by 1810.

Alexander Young fought in 3 different battles in S. Carolina w/ Major Williams 1775-1776 & Capt. John Bowies group from 1775-1777 & along the Saulda River, then ended up with battle at Kings Mt. Dishcarge June 1, 1777, went to Rutherford Co., NC and joined Colonel Isaac Shelby’s regiment, then returen to pursit of Tories at the close of the war.

Would like to find a history on these wars fought and list of names in these different Companies.

In the Family History of the Youngs with Agnes Lusk group, not one note on this brother, with him fighting all these different battles. Could this Alexander Young be from Germany? Need to know all the different spelling of Jung/Young would appreicate your help.

Would greatly appreicate your help.

Thank You
