I received this E-mail from a Relative in Sweden. If anyone reading this knows anything about this Family maybe we can help this person out.
Thanks,
Hi, Sally and Stanley,
I´m doing genealogy for my friends. In the register of Emigrants from Trondheim, I find the names of
theirs relatives who went away from Jämtland. I have tryed to find them on U.S. census, but I´m always
requested to registrate and pay on Ancestry.com. Could you find them in a easier way ? I really should
appreciate that.
The people are: Lars Esbjörnsson b.1860, March 10, in Berg, Jämtland. Emigrated in Aug. 1892.
His wife Sofia Fredrika Esbjörnsson b.1861, May 12, in Vemdalen, " " May 1893.
Children: Esbjörn Larsson b.1883, May 24, in Berg " "
Karl Larsson b.1885, May 01, " " "
Leonard Larsson b.1887, Sept.28, " " "
Lars Larsson b.1889, July 13, " " "
They emigrated to Vermillion, South Dakota, U.S. The ticket for Sofia and the children was already
payed in America. It´s amazing if the familyfather could get so much money in so short time.
Ivar is also related to this family far away,Jämtland has always got few inhabitants, the in-breeding
came to an end when the bike was invented !( I´m half from Jämtland and half from Västergötland.)
