Thank you Andie! I am confused on part of his obituary. What does "The body will lie in state at Nobles from 79- Tuesday." mean? I didn't know that he had any other children besides his step-son that his parents helped raise when his first wife died in 1910. I wish it listed her first name and didn't just give her husband's name! :) It's also odd to me that in John Dahl's obituary it is listed that he leaves one brother, John P. Carlson. You would think if they were brother's they would have the same last name? Unless maybe it was a brother in law?
I am wondering why, if he is buried in New Home Cemetery why is there no death date on his headstone? Isn't there a New Home Lutheran Church? If I contacted them would they possibly have more records?
Thanks again Andie for all of your help!! :)
