De Voe, Dakota, Friday Morning, January 11, 1884

LOCAL POINTERS

More pleasant.

32 degrees above last Wednesday.

Guy T. Holt is now living on his claim.

E. S___oinden was in town last Saturday and Sunday.

Mr. __early is spending time holding down his claim.

Charley Crow looks for his better half to return to DeVoe to-morrow.

Chauncy J. Cooper has returned home after a pleasant visit in the east.

Last Monday the board of Commissioners met at LaFoon and transacted business.

Sunday school every Sunday at the Pioneer House. Every body is cordially invited.

School opened Monday at the residence of Elmer Cooper. Mr. W. R. Davis is instructor.

The school election of township 120 range 67 will take place the 22d day of this month. Give a large vote.

No services took place last Sunday either preaching or Sunday school on account of the funeral of Miss Amanda Knox.
