I have a family tree on ancestry called Kushman and Wolff if you'd like to peruse it. I just spoke to my mother and she said that Jens was married with a child in Denmark. Anna was Jens girlfriend from Sweden who he took and moved to the states. Anna's maiden name was Hammer and her father's name was Olson. I hope this helps some. If I find more information, I will be sure to supply you with it.

I'm sorry I know nothing about Norma Jones except what I wrote on the board. She was one of my mom's mission companions and we have a lovely picture of her that she wanted Norma's family to have. Do you think that she might belong to your family line? It's been so long since I was trying to find anyone related to her that I finally gave up and sent all the pictures with my husband to donate to BYU, but I don't think he has donated them yet, so if you think she might be yours let me know and I will try to get it back. Thanks Flora

How old was the Albert SWEARINGEN who died 24 May 1938? In 1905, there was an Albert, 16, Turner Co., who didn't know where his parents were born. In 1915, there was an Albert, 27, of Centerville, listed as a single idiot [Pilot.FamilySearch.org] .

In 1915, there was an Albert, 4, of Clarmont, Detroit Twp., M. E. religion, father b. Iowa, mother b. IL. I suppose that was Claremont, Brown County, although that is now in Claremont Township.

Do you know the names of anyone else in the family besides Albert and any other dates or places for the family?

I am looking for information about Charles Vondersmith and his family who lived in Murdo. They were there at least from 1910 to 1934 according to the censuses and his brother's obituary. I see him listed in the index for "Proving Up- Jones County History" which I found at the SDGenWeb site. Does anyone have a copy of this book? I am also curious whether Charles and his wife, Alice, are buried there, and who their daughters, Audrey and Lucille, might have married. (I am posting this on the message board—I'm not subscribed to the list.)
Thank you very much for any help!
