Neubauer Family - Karl or Philip

Surnames: Neubauer's from Russia to Colorado, South Dakota and Illinois
Hi Listers,

I'm trying to see if I have a family connection between come people I came across on my ancestry search at the library today and I need some help.

I'm trying to see if Karl and Philip Neubauer who came to South Dakota in 1909 are actually related to my Philip Neubauer Jr. of Weld County Colorado. My Phil Jr came over about the same time, different ship. Some of the names are similar, some are not, so that's where confusion sets in.

On the RW World Connect listing, some one has listed Phil Jr's dad Philip as being the same Philip that went to South Dakota. Supposedly, this Philip went to McPherson County.

I was looking at the 1910 Census and I see Philip and his family but by 1920, they are not in South Dakota.

Karl is listed as having died in Brown County, March 22, 1915 in Aberdeen. Now his wife, Katharina died September 18, 1915, same place.

I'm finding conflicting reports on where they were actually from, Alexanderhilt or Hoffendal. I know from talking with Phil Jr, he always listed Krasnojar as where he came from.

Can anyone tell me where I can find obits for this area? I would really like to find out if he had cousins in America.
