I am looking for more information on Jens M Anderson, born 19 Nov 1883 in Denmark, emigrated to US in 1887. According to the 1900 US Census, he was a servant in the household of Nels Jenson of Blinsmon Township. His sister, Alvina (or Vina) is also listed in that census as a servant in the same household. Jens married Alice Loffswold in 1903 and continued to farm in Blinsmon Twshp until at least 1918 when he registered for military service. I am looking for more information on his parents. According to a later census record for a younger sibling their father's name was Jens Anderson. The same record lists mother's name as Ella Nelson, however I do know that she re-married at one time so I don't know if this is a maiden or married name. I am assuming that the elder Jens had died by 1900 since Vina was working as a servant then at the age of 13. Any information would be appreciated. I have hit a roadblock with this side of my family!
