I'm looking for information on my grandfather, Frank Hernandez. He was a long time resident of Rapid City. I'm told he worked for the railroad for many years. He lost a leg either to an automobile accident, hit and run, or working on the railraod. I've heard all 3 of these stories. He was married or at least had children with my grandmother, Alice Soundsleeper. I have attempted to look at his birth certificate but all it mentions is that he was born in Mexico but doesn't state who his parents names are or where in Mexico he was born. I have had numerous people attempt to help me but to no avail. Please help!!! I'm stuck.
